Summer Let Cleaners: 14th July- 13th August

Join our crew as a Summer Let Cleaner at the fabulous Cranbrook School. You'll be playing a key role in keeping our boarding houses spick and span! We're on the lookout for enthusiastic people to tackle various cleaning tasks in our boarding houses during the summer period from 14th July to 13th August.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Give designated areas a good scrub, including polishing, dusting, sweeping, and washing – toilets included!
• Disinfect spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Clear away rubbish and dispose of it properly.
• Use the right products for each area to keep everything in top shape.
• Let us know about any damage or broken equipment as soon as you spot it.

Person Specification

• You need to be reliable and on time.
• Bring your flexibility and adaptability to the table as needs change.
• No experience? No problem! We’ll provide comprehensive training.

Pay

£12.71 per hour, paid via timesheet.

Schedule

• Induction & Training Tuesday 14 July - 8:30 am to 12/1 pm
• Thursday 16 July to Monday 20 July - 8:30 am to 12/1 pm
• Wednesday 22 July to Monday 27 July - 8:30 am to 12/1 pm
• Wednesday 29 July - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (approx.)
• Thursday 30 July to Monday 3 August - 8:30 am to 12/1 pm
• Wednesday 5 August to Monday 10 August - 8:30 am to 12/1 pm
• Wednesday 12 August and Thursday 13 August - 8:30 am to 2:00 pm

Tuesdays will be your weekly day off. Cleaning hours may vary, usually wrapping up between midday and around 1 pm. Wednesdays can get quite busy, particularly on the 29th, our main changeover day, so be prepared for longer hours then. We might also have mini changeovers on other Wednesdays, so staying flexible is key.

On Thursdays, things will be a bit lighter, with hours from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Each boarding house will have a House Supervisor, and if you finish up yours early, you might be asked to lend a hand with another.
